Best Day in Bangkok Thai Cooking Class Review 509
“Outstanding Class & Best Day in Bangkok”
I recently traveled to Bangkok with family. I had been before but my mother had never, so I wanted to show her the sights, as well as arrange some fun activities for us. I found Chef Leez quickly online because it had received so many wonderful reviews, and I wondered, “can it be THAT good?’ Well, the simple answer is YES! We signed up for a 4-hour cooking class and arrived to the classroom around 10am. We were invited in to a clean and organized cooking area, and Chef Leez wasted no time jumping right in to our day of cooking. We took a trip to a local, hidden market where we purchased fresh ingredients and got to see the where the locals shop. (A great opportunity for photographs of local produce and seafood, meat, etc). We headed back to class and began cooking up over seven dishes which we were able to sample after we cooked. Real, authentic, fresh meals. We made coconut milk and cream by hand, no canned or packaged stuff here. Chef Leez is all about the real deal, no artificial ingredients or MSG. She wants you to know where the flavor comes from and puts real heart into her work. She is a dynamic, funny, engaging and informative teacher. We learned so much but we had so much fun! If you are looking for a cooking class in Bangkok, seriously, look no further! This was hands down my best experience in Bangkok and a great way for me to show my mum more of Thailand.
