Nov 23rd, My Canadian Husband and I departed for a 10 day trip to Canada to activate my Canadian Permanent Resident Status. We've never seen an airport so EMPTY!
We learned the airlines require to see your original vaccination papers. Our hard earned yellow vaccination passport was not acceptable by the airlines nor was a photo copy nor were photos on a smart phone. It is doubtful if QR codes are set p on an international data base. So it is doubtful vaccination QR codes are internationally accepted.

Thai Pass Rule Change?

Thai Pass is Thailand's way for you to register for a no quarantine visit.
It is structured quite simple unless you fall through the cracks (have athsma) or require changes to your arrival date.
If you have asthma, as does my husband, you will be denied the online a policy by the Thai Pass accepted travel insurance. Which is issued by AXA Thailand. You will then need to make a personal contact for an application to submit to their underwriting for approval.
If you need to change your arrival date. You will have to rebook your SMA+ Hotel booking and pay again.
Due to the special cover letter wording required by Thai Pass the AXA travel plans are the only ones that for sure qualify.
Dec 8th, 2021 gossip is Thailand's P.M. wants to drop the requirement for both the SMA+ hotel and the travel insurance.
Such a move would bring Thailand's Thai Pass entry requirements much more in line with say that of Canada's Arrive Canada requirements.
