Thailand legalizes cannabis home grow.

Cannabis is being removed from illegal drug status by Thailand's narcotic board. Thai Households will then be able to home grow medicinal cannabis for their personal use.

Lawmaker Somchai Sawangkarn said the passing of an amendment to allow medical marijuana in the country “could be considered as a New Year gift to Thais.” “The amendment (on the Narcotics Bill) was passed the second and third readings today. And will become effective once it is published on the Royal Gazette,” he said.”

It is written that sighting this bird "the Pileated Woodpecker" in the wild is a once in a lifetime experience!

2022  Plastics are choking Earth!

We ask that you do all that is in your power to reduce the use of plastics.

Be observant of the plastic in packaging. 

Tell your store managers that you are wary of packaging with plastic as you r comment represents 100 other that feel the same. There are NO mainland beaches free of plastic. Many ocean faring species of birds are threatened with extinction as the food parents bring to the young is very high in plastic content and the young birds do not develop so as to leave when winter arrives.

There is currently only one way to destroy plastic and is a special kind of ray gun that atomises plastic. It is unlikely to become common use BECAUSE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE SPEAK OUT ON THE SUBJECT!
 

Thai Pass Rule Change?

Thai Pass has returned to Thailand  way for you to register for a no quarantine visit.  Recent announcements suggest Thailand plans to  return to its pre-covid entry requirements. 

It is structured quite simple unless you fall through the cracks (have athsma) or require changes to your arrival date.

If you have asthma, as  does my husband, you will be denied the  online a policy by the Thai Pass accepted travel insurance.  Which is issued by AXA Thailand. You will then need to make a personal contact for an application to submit to their underwriting for approval. 

If you need to change your arrival date. You will have to rebook your SMA+ Hotel booking and pay again.

Due to the special cover letter wording required by Thai Pass the AXA travel plans are the only ones that for sure qualify.

Jan 2022 gossip is Thailand's P.M. wants to drop the requirement for both the SMA+ hotel and the travel insurance for March or April 2022.

Such a move would bring Thailand's Thai Pass entry requirements much more in line with say that of Canada's Arrive Canada requirements.
