Chef LeeZ Thai Cooking Class Bangkok Review 930

“Amazing Cooking Experience”

Chef Leez is a gem and I love that she is teaching to pursuit of her dream. We took her morning 10am to 2pm semi-private class, and she did an amazing job with both the menu selection and teaching us how to make delicious Thai food from scratch. She also included tips and tricks on how to make some of the ingredients — I loved her energy, and her passion for both cooking and teaching. The class was easy to follow for all levels of cooks. You might think the class is pricey and a little far from your hotel, but the experience and knowledge she gives you is well worth it. Be prepared to eat small dishes throughout those 4 hours and when booking a taxi, be sure to book either in advance or allow extra time to find a taxi to go to the cooking class location. Many of the taxi drivers we encountered said no trying to get there and some tried to charge us unfair rates so we were worried about being late. She sends you helpful tips for getting there and she helps you get a taxi back to where you need to go when the class ends. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking to learn how to make authentic Thai cuisine. Have fun!

Owners Response

Chef LeeZ Thai Cooking Class Bangkok Review 930. Our 10 AM class is not a semi private class.  In the 10 AM class you learn 12 dishes while other cooking schools average 4 dishes a class. The 12 dishes selected  cover all the technique required for you to make gourmet Thai cuisine back home.  Our cost per dish is less than 200 baht per dish learned while other schools average 400 + baht per dish.  Bangkok City Taxi ‘s are labeled “The Mafia Taxi” as 80% of them break the taxi laws of Bangkok by refusing fares and refusing to run the meter. Especially so when it comes to tourists. See our Bangkok Taxi Options web site page for detailed taxi options to BKK’s “Mafia” city cabs.  Know this…where ever you go in Bangkok, as a tourist, you need to allow time and be prepared to ask 5 or 6 taxi’s to run the meter before you will find one that will run the meter.  Be sure to show your driver our location map on our web site location page.
