Learning how to do the basics well (pastes, oils, sauces) from scratch was the key learning and took the most time, but then all the dishes seemingly materialised all at once using these key ingredients. Good advice and tips along the way with Chef patient and with a good sense of humour. Spend a bit extra and do this course - you won’t be disappointed!!

We asked questions, tasted some items, joked and laughed together and these items were used in our cooking experience. Chef was very personable, knowledgeable and informative. Adjustments made to meet one vegan, with additional allergy dietary needs and a vegetarian. Chef smoothly made transitions and we were able to cook our meal simply together. It was me and mother at the class and we had a fantastic session learning all about Thai food. Chef Leez is funny, charming and patient. She knows a lot about flavours, processes and always ensures you have a food time. She is amazing, her team of two ladies are hardworking and lovely to be around. We have a fantastic class, was greeted by the locals and explored the market. There were so many foods and flavours we had never seen and were memorised by the simple ingredients and the many dishes we could make with them. 10/10 I recommend.

Ihre Mitarbeiterinnen haben parallel alles vorbereitet. So waren wir effizient. Lee ist nett, kompetent, flexibel. Ich bin Vegetarier, mein Freund isst Fleisch. Sie ist auf alle Wünsche eingegangen. (auch bezüglich scharf, nicht scharf). Wir hatten genug Zeit, Fragen zu stellen und Lee hat alles beantwortet (Kokusnüsse, Shrimps, Gewürze, Kultur) Lee ist sehr hilfsbereit. Ich hatte mein Handy am Morgen im Taxi vergessen. Sie hat alles organisiert, dass ich das Handy zurückbekam. Wir besuchten gemeinsam den Markt und sie zeigte uns die Tamarinden Bäume.

Chef Lee is lovely and knowledgeable, the space is clean, air conditioned, bright and comfortable. Class took a little over 4 hours and we made more dishes than I can count+ snacks. Come hungry.

Her class is funny, full of tips and knowledge and her charisma makes the learning so much enjoyable. We cooked several dishes, but the main point for me was how she details the process that look simple, but are the base of authentic Thai food. And Chef Lee, thank you for taking me to the boat, I arrived well :)

We are so happy you enjoyed your Chef LeeZ signature 12-dish 4-hour cooking class! The boat ride back to Bangkok city center is truly an experience of Thai commuting and is full of photo ops. It is not part of the class but is available on request and when Chef Lee has something else she needs to do in the area of the boats.

Phenomenal experience, Chef Lee is as wonderful as the previous reviews say :) I really appreciated her emphasis on technique - starting from whole ingredients and explaining how and why the dishes come together. (I never knew how coconut oil was made!) I left having learned not just the steps for 12 recipes, but with a better understanding of how to use Thai ingredients and how they build on each other. As a teacher myself, to do that in just a few hours is truly impressive and it's no surprise this class has been so highly reviewed for years. Can also vouch that the vegan dishes were stellar, not compromises. So happy and thankful I took Chef Lee's class.

Our family enjoyed immensely, Chef Leez was very clear about her instructions, was funny at times, and made our family feel at home. Our daughter had a stomach problem from the previous days and she went out of her way to get her medication and made sure to cook mild food that she can tolerate. We started off in a local market and spent some time learning about different vegetables and spices. We specially loved learning about coconut and coconut milk making process. The real coconut milk tasted incredible! I cannot think of any place I can learn Thai cooking and about coconut as much as I did in her class. I highly recommend it! And she has an air condition so don't hesitate to book during the summer time!

I felt very privileged! For anyone considering a cooking class, this is the one to go to. Yes it is out of town but it wasn't an issue getting to in a taxi, Chef Leez even arranged a taxi for me to the airport straight after. I loved hearing your stories and your tips and tricks for how to cook, not just Thai food but in preparing coconut and washing seafood. The food was beautiful and there was so much that I couldn't eat any more. I just wish I could have taken the meals on the plane, and thank-you for wrapping the tom yum paste. You were correct, NZ customs weren't interested at all and I brought it through no problem. Thank you for your class. Hopefully one day in the future I will bring my wife when I visit again.

We learned so much about cooking technique, and how things can go wrong if you skip certain steps, or do them in the wrong order, and found that to be extremely valuable. We also did comparisons to see how much better "made from raw ingredients" food tastes vs something bought in a tin or package. Chef LeeZ has a lot of interesting stories to share, and you end up eating 12 delicious dishes. The kitchen is beautiful, clean and cool (A/C). I hope that a lot more people will experience this amazing opportunity. PRO TIP: Arrive hungry, but pace yourself to leave space for all 12 dishes.

Inbetween I did a lot of cooking lessons in different countries in Asia. And this was the best, that was 20 years ago already, and it still is the best. We first went to the market, their is always what new to be found. And I learned new techniques to cook healthier delicious food! So if you wish to do a cooking class, go for this one. It’s a bit farther out of the city. But this is a plus, so you see a different area, and it’s great to go back by boat! I had a great day, thanks to chef Leez. The food was delicious, the kitchen is very clean en everything is very organized, it’s fun and a great way to take something home with you! Because you can cook now a nice and healthy Thai dinner!

Would you like to know how coconut milk, cream and, oil are made? Or you just want to try some delicious Thai food. Then the course is definitely recommended. After my initial appointment was postponed, I came to my cooking class on Sunday and realised - it was a private lesson! Never before have I had all my questions answered so patiently during a cooking class. If I wanted to photograph something, repetition was never a problem. Highly recommended for many reasons. Regardless of the very nice chef, the very kind kitchen staff and the super clean environment - everything was perfect. It is a very special experience that you can only have in Thailand.
