'Granma always said, always wash three times.' 😇 She learned from her grandmother; all the recipes are authentic, and each one contains several stories, each as funny as it is touching. Don't miss it; she's the only one with whom you'll leave with, in addition to the 11 recipes, an incredible immersion in the local culture. Leez is full of life, good humor, humor, and a smile, and she shares it all like a truly good meal with friends. She takes care of her mind, her body, and her friends in many different and touching ways. The food we eat is one of the primary causes of our disorders. In addition to the recipes, Leez teaches you the art of taking care of your body through the fresh ingredients she will share with you. Honestly, my best experience in Bangkok, or even in Thailand 🥰 The neighborhood is also quieter and prettier, it's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. 'Granma disait toujours toujours laver 3 fois' 😇 Elle a appris avec sa grand mère, toutes les recettes sont authentiques et chacune d'entre elle contient plusieurs histoires tout aussi drôles que touchantes. A ne surtout pas manquer, cest la seule avec qui vous repartirez avec en plus des 11 recettes une incroyable immersion dans la culture locale. Leez est remplie de Vie, de bonne humeur, d'humour, de sourire et elle partage tout ça comme un vrai bon repas entre amis. Elle prend soin de son esprit, de son corps et des ses amis de pleins de manières differentes et touchantes. La nourriture que nous ingerons est l'une des premières causes de nos troubles. En plus des recettes, Leez vous transmet l'art de prendre soin de son corps au travers des ingrédients frais qu'elle vous partagera. If you love cooking, this is definitely something you should do. We did everything from carving a coconut to creating our own coconut milk, cream, and oil. Then we went on to create a couple of different sauces, 3 different soups, 1 pad thai, and 3 different curry’s + 1 salad and desert. Absolutely amazing, chef is very amiable and really enjoys cooking. Strongly recommend!

My husband and I first took it around 2018. We loved it so much that we brought our sons with us during a trip to Thailand in 2019. Today, we brought our daughter. The class is fantastic and Chef Leez could not possibly be more interesting, engaging, helpful, kind, or knowledgeable. She also has a great sense of humor and her English skills are really good, too. The amount of cooking knowledge she packs into a short 4 hours is astonishing for even a fairly decent cook, but, somehow, she manages to teach the class in such a way as to be very approachable and fun even if you are the most novice cook. Don't hesitate to sign up and take her class. You will leave with a lot of confidence to cook Thai food and an extremely full and happy tummy because all the 14 dishes you will cook will be heartily sampled along the way. Arrive hungry - my advice is to skip breakfast if you can - and do not make lunch plans. There is one potential downside to taking this class - and it is a serious one! You will likely be forever spoiled knowing how this fantastic food is supposed to taste when properly prepared... in the future you may turn your nose up at cheap shortcuts and overpriced grocery items. You have been forewarned!

The cooking experience and food in this class was exceptional! Chef LeeZ helps prepare dishes that are easily better than the food that I ate from street vendors and restaurants in Bangkok. The kitchen is very clean, and Chef LeeZ follows thorough hygiene practices to ensure that all of the food is safe to eat. The cooking experience was phenomenal: Chef LeeZ is a versatile and highly skilled cooking teacher, and is happy to help adapt the dishes for different dietary restrictions and produce availability. Chef LeeZ and her husband are very friendly, and make the class atmosphere warm and unique. This class is very well valued! I would recommend that you budget some extra time in the afternoon past 2 pm -- my class ended at about 3 pm, which I was very happy about because it gave me more time to immerse myself in the cooking. It's not easy to fit 12 dishes and a market tour into 4 hours! I highly recommend this class, as it was absolutely the highlight of my experience in Bangkok.

You will be hard-pressed to find the equal to the taste-bud-popping flavours you create in class anywhere on the planet. Most restaurants take shortcuts, including flavouring with MSG.

Learning how to do the basics well (pastes, oils, sauces) from scratch was the key learning and took the most time, but then all the dishes seemingly materialised all at once using these key ingredients. Good advice and tips along the way with Chef patient and with a good sense of humour. Spend a bit extra and do this course - you won’t be disappointed!!

We asked questions, tasted some items, joked and laughed together and these items were used in our cooking experience. Chef was very personable, knowledgeable and informative. Adjustments made to meet one vegan, with additional allergy dietary needs and a vegetarian. Chef smoothly made transitions and we were able to cook our meal simply together. It was me and mother at the class and we had a fantastic session learning all about Thai food. Chef Leez is funny, charming and patient. She knows a lot about flavours, processes and always ensures you have a food time. She is amazing, her team of two ladies are hardworking and lovely to be around. We have a fantastic class, was greeted by the locals and explored the market. Ihre Mitarbeiterinnen haben parallel alles vorbereitet. So waren wir effizient. Lee ist nett, kompetent, flexibel. Ich bin Vegetarier, mein Freund isst Fleisch. Sie ist auf alle Wünsche eingegangen. (auch bezüglich scharf, nicht scharf). Wir hatten genug Zeit, Fragen zu stellen und Lee hat alles beantwortet (Kokusnüsse, Shrimps, Gewürze, Kultur) Lee ist sehr hilfsbereit. Her class is funny, full of tips and knowledge and her charisma makes the learning so much enjoyable. We cooked several dishes, but the main point for me was how she details the process that look simple, but are the base of authentic Thai food. We are so happy you enjoyed your Chef LeeZ signature 12-dish 4-hour cooking class! The boat ride back to Bangkok city center is truly an experience of Thai commuting and is full of photo ops. It is not part of the class but is available on request and when Chef Lee has something else she needs to do in the area of the boats.

Phenomenal experience, Chef Lee is as wonderful as the previous reviews say :) I really appreciated her emphasis on technique - starting from whole ingredients and explaining how and why the dishes come together. (I never knew how coconut oil was made!) I left having learned not just the steps for 12 recipes, but with a better understanding of how to use Thai ingredients and how they build on each other. As a teacher myself, to do that in just a few hours is truly impressive and it's no surprise this class has been so highly reviewed for years. Can also vouch that the vegan dishes were stellar, not compromises. So happy and thankful I took Chef Lee's class.

Our family enjoyed immensely, Chef Leez was very clear about her instructions, was funny at times, and made our family feel at home. Our daughter had a stomach problem from the previous days and she went out of her way to get her medication and made sure to cook mild food that she can tolerate. We started off in a local market and spent some time learning about different vegetables and spices. We specially loved learning about coconut and coconut milk making process. The real coconut milk tasted incredible! I cannot think of any place I can learn Thai cooking and about coconut as much as I did in her class. I highly recommend it! And she has an air condition so don't hesitate to book during the summer time!
